“Mike’s Bloody Saturday” Walking Tour

Join the award-winning composer of the musical “Strike!”, Danny Schur, as he shares details about the life of Mike Sokolowski, the Ukrainian immigrant killed during the culmination of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike – Bloody Saturday.  The walking tour begins at Winnipeg’s City Hall courtyard and makes its way to the site of the former Manitoba Hotel and into “Hell’s Alley.”      

City Hall – 1:00 PM (rain or shine)
Duration:  2 hours, Maximum 40 people per tour

The relentless dehumanization of the profit-seeking corporate world brings Eve to the brink of madness in this absurdly surreal dark-comedy, providing insights into the human consequence of being a cog in the corporate machine.
