MayWorks Festival of Labour and the Arts invites submissions for MayWorks 2012 to be held in the month of May 2012.

MayWorks is a multi-disciplinary festival that focuses on the relationship between working class issues and their artistic expression in song, poetry, photography, dance, drama or art.

The theme for MayWorks 2012 is “Culture to Change the World” inspired by the many examples of art – historical and contemporary – that has been produced in response to social movements, the working class experience and the struggle for social change.
